It links back to 'Thinking outside the box' where I transformed a cardboard box into a robotic arm. Although my work doesn't actually move as this artists kinetic-art, I was already planning on making something that moves on it's own, or becomes part of your own body when you wear it.
My first impression of Goulds art was that he loves robots and mechanics just like me. I was always experimenting with objects and scrapped material to create my very own sculptures and I was already doing those when I was 10 years old. I always liked finding items just laying around streets and then going back home to see what I can turn those into. I always loves costuming and started to create armor parts and then wear them on my body for fun. Although the artist didn't 'wear' his sculptures, I think wearing something still classifies into kinetic arts.
From what I can see, the artist uses metals, cans, plastics, rubber, springs and other various metal objects to create his sculptures.
